Rain Reflections

The rain really did come down in buckets today- much to everyone's relief- we've hardly had any rain at all since March.

I've just spent a really sad evening with my believing friend who is really depressed since going back to visit her home village for the first time since it was liberated from I*S. The whole place is ruined, their house was trashed, they can never imagine living there again and see no future here. They're now wanting to leave for Europe the illegal route. I could have cried. Thankful for time to read the Word with her. Psalm 23 was particularly poignant this evening.
