Day 269- Whitsundays

Yet again another blow my mind day!
Me and alisha packed up this morning and headed towards the lagoon to set sail on our boat. I didn't realise the boat was taking me to a millionaires resort on paradise cove island in the Whitsundays. It has it's own tennis court, pool, outdoor baths and right on the sea. As the boat pulled up on to the shore a had to jump out into knew feel ocean with out waterproof bags they gave us and my jaw hit the floor. This place used to be hired out for thousands to Russian millionaires and here I am standing on this piece of paradise. Our tour leader Billy is a absolute legend also, he made a amazing feast which includes the tastiest mash potatoe ever!! And Apple pie and custard for afters! He caught a baby python yesterday so everyone was having a little look and then he left it with me whilst I ate my Apple pie haha. Just chilling with a baby paython wrapped round my wrist, so amazing! Then he took me outside and showed me a micro bat ( as I have become slightly obsessed with bats since being in Australia haha) just unbelievable. We then as a group went on a little nature tour and had a look at some spiders and toads, and then we finished with a chill around the camp fire. The boys went down the front and the next minute I heard 'JADE!' only a bloody turtle had swam up into the little stream of water as the tide had come in. (The last thing on my 'major' bucket list for Australia- swim with/see turtles in the wild) and here we are sat round a camp fire and one came to us! This island is just out of this world. Walking back to put little hut before bed was hilarious, Alisha not being a very one with nature kinda person screaming at all the noises and a toad, absolutely hilarious.
Such a good day!!
