Thoughtful

We braved the crowds in town to have a look for presents for the children. Every year I say I'll be organised and buy through the year, but it never happens.

We went over to look after Ella and Nathaniel, as their mum was reliving her teenage years and going to a Levellers concert. Dad had to go to bed as he works at night. We gave them a bath. Ella who will be 5 in February, was very subdued as she'd had a major telling off - she'd been naughty in the morning and wouldn't get ready before school when the childminder said it was time.

She accepted the punishment of no TV without a murmur, and did her reading without being silly. (Usually she puts on a funny voice). But will she apologise tomorrow? If she's like her grandad, I doubt it!
