Welsh Poppy

Dull weather, and a dull day doing the usual Friday shopping.
Getting out of the car, back home, I looked down and noticed this little Welsh poppy peeping up between the fence and the block paving.
 It brightened my day, and I hope it brightens yours too.

I'm glad you liked yesterday's shot of York Minster.  The photo wouldn't have looked nearly so good today without that blue sky and sunshine.
