Not a good start.

I always think it is the beginning of Christmas, when I buy a poinsettia .

As we are having friends over for lunch on Friday, we decided to do our supermarket shopping this afternoon.
The morning was spent power washing our stone flags, as for once it was fine and sunny.(didn't last long!)
A job we don't look forward to, but they had
become very slippery

I had decided the poinsettia would be my first Christmas blip, which it is, but not out of the wrapper, because as I was taking it out, I realised that the stem was broken at the bottom.
I carried it very carefully on my knee all the way home, so I know I didn't do it.
So hey oh it's back to Sainsburys tomorrow morning.
