Christingles

Spent this afternoon helping to make Christingles for Little Havens Children's Hospice. We went to the Hospice which was fairly quiet today and joined a production line. They needed around 200 made for a service tomorrow. My job was putting the glow sticks...which were used instead of candles...into the oranges. A sticky job but it had to be done. I'd rather have been sticking the jelly tots on cocktail sticks.
A good start to the day as I knocked one minute off my parkrun time. Very happy with that.
Popped into Tesco and bought my food items for the food bank. Act of kindness day 3. Pasta, rice and mince pies. The food bank trolleys seemed more full than usual...hope it's because everyone is following the kindness advent.
