Wishful thinking

Went to see China Crisis in concert tonight, one of the few 80s bands that Mr DawnAgain and I both like, and they were amazing - the most fun you can have in a church (St John's in Farncombe)! When we arrived (slightly late due to parking difficulties) there were two guys in the foyer and I quickly realised they were Gary and Eddie, that is The Band. All I could think of saying was, 'Oh, hello!' and then some banter ensued, and then I said, 'See you later'.

Meanwhile Mr Dawn Again just ignored them, which I thought was a bit rude. When we sat down I asked him what that was all about and it transpired he hadn't recognised them and had assumed I had bumped into some people I knew *rolls eyes*. Anyway, top night out.

Earlier in the day we had Gramps and Nan Sue (and Becky the new dog, a Papillon) over for lunch. They were on good form despite Gramps's looming op on Monday.
