Giving on a day of receiving

Although Sinterklaas, Piet and Amerigo made their way to NZ this evening, the girls had some more giving to do first.

They waited for a few hours to hear the sirens getting closer to the house so that they could go and donate a few bags of groceries to the wonderful volunteers collecting for the food bank. Caitlin thought it would be pretty awesome if the little boy's family we bought a shoebox Christmas for would also get the food we donated. She figured they would have a pretty neat Christmas.

And after their goodwill, a bag of presents was soon found from sinterklaas.

They seem to be embracing both the giving and receiving parts of the December holiday season.
