High Street

Among Peebles' many charms is the fact that it has been able to retain a living High Street - with many independent and traditional businesses.   There are as of now not too many chain shops - Boots, Greggs and Costa for example .... (the latter just recently arrived.)    There are three of four charity shops.  But it all feels like a good mix!

Peebles motto is "Contra Nando Incrementum" - swimming against the current makes you strong!.    Here's hoping.
