A bird in the bush, is worth blipping!

A sad  day  today as we attended a funeral of our friends daughter. We have known  Les & Jean for many  years, and a few months ago, they lost their granddaughter to cancer. Their daughter just couldn't cope with the grief, and took her own life  two weeks ago. 
When my Dad passed away,J asked Les, if he would ride J's BSA, motorcycle ,( which my Dad used to ride, with me as his pillion. ) as part of the funeral cortege. Les was honoured to do so, and we have never forgotten the favour he did for us. 
Although we were  early, there  was a crowd already waiting. It was a very big funeral, and we couldn't get into the chapel, and had to stand in the approach hall .
