The calendar
I try to publish a new picture on a local Facebook site every day. We live high up on a steep slope facing the sunrising in the East. This has led to a situation where if I don't post a picture people start enquiring after my health. This morning was a problem as we had a heavy mist all day and the sun never succeeded in penetrate it. I had to resort to using one of the pictures that I took yesterday, in Lower Town, and showed strong reflections in the harbour at high tide.
As a consequence of publishing everyday a certain level of pressure was applied to persuade me to publish a calendar of my best pictures. I have never produced anything along these lines before but when the local Hospice also asked I agreed and the rear of the calendar is pictured above. Had no idea how well these would be received so i am overjoyed to report that we have just ordered our second reprint, having already sold over 100 and now expect to sell all 150 at £10-00 each. This has been a very easy fundraiser for Shalom and people are already suggesting their favourite scene for next years publication.
