Grey Day

When I took this I was fascinated by the way the receding fells were grey. I haven't desaturated this image.

What I didn't know was that this was not the greyest bit of the day!


Tonight my sister-in-law died.

For over 20 years, The Man (Jerra) his brother (kanyl), Alice and I have gone out every alternate Wednesday night together. They have lived just 6 miles away from us for many, many years. The 4 of us ran 2 town-centre jeweller's businesses.

We are a close family. It has been a very, very grey day..
