Congo capers

Hanging with Bryna (and Alison out of shot) is always fun as they've got many tales of working in the Democratic Republic of Congo. These stories lurch from the comical but mostly to the ludicrous (extortion, chimp bushmeat) and tragic (war, murder). It sounds like after work experience in the DRC you're pretty much equipped for anything.

Bryna is an American import working for another organisation in the building. On a Tuesday she enjoys a glass of red and some halloumi and chilli bites at a bistro in the city centre. Then she enjoys a stroll home through Cambridge's backstreets regaling me with yet more tales of a life well lived (so far - it's hardly like she's got one foot in the grave).
