cherish what remains

uncomfortable

A workshop is a potentially treacherous environment for an introvert. As one who feels drained, usually happily so, by talking and listening to others, it can be problematic if there is no time to recover, or if the listening is stressful, as in lots of people wanting what they want when they want it and saying so, incessantly, to me. Not to mention, it is hot and damp and apparently I am allergic to the medicine I've been taking for two weeks.

Ahh, but all is not lost. It is glorious to work all day and just show up and be fed. To not have internet access is freeing in its own way. Life is distilled to making art, eating, enjoying Lisa's company and ignoring everything else. I am learning new things and that is worth the discomfort.
