17˚C in the shade

It's mid-December.

Yesterday I was kitted out with a jumper, coat, scarf and gloves as the temperature in the freezing fog plummeted to -1˚C

This afternoon it was 17˚C and I was walking through the town centre in my shirtsleeves. The temperature in the office was 24.6˚C.
