Getting ready

Mr C decided he'd go into the woods and gather some foliage to decorate the dining room as we had friends coming for supper, and we'd want decorations done for Christmas anyway.

I cooked while this went on, but my input was required.

We had Spinach, mushroom and soft cheese roulade, then a smoked paprika sausage, chorizo and chickpea casserole, followed by a Nigella frozen berry and white chocolate with Limoncello cream.

Tomorrow I'm hoping to get to the gym to work it off.

In the morning I found out after enquiring at the GP surgery that the referral letter supposedly sent off 3 months ago for an orthopaedic appointment about my arthritic foot hadn't actually been sent. They apologised for the oversight.
