A Burst of Blossom...

Another wet grey day...although there was a few streaks of blue sky and the sun did show but at present it looks as though there will be no encore.

We took a trip out to rural Dunedin for Mother's osteopathic treatment and whilst she was being pummelled I went looking for blipfoto material. Blossom out in nearly every garden and rural pasture. This one had a heady scent and I just had to pluck a twig or two for Mother to sniff. Spring not far off now. Early born lambs sloshing around in muddy paddocks and drifts of wild daffodils starting to warm the wet and soggy winter landscape.
