City of Culture

My friend George Adam MSP - aka Mr Paisley as he lives, sleeps, eats and breathes his constituency - has been hosting an information stall this week in the Parliament to promote the campaign to gain the "UK City of Culture" accolade for the city in 2021.

He also spoke in a members debate on the topic last night and hosted a very well attended reception. I am only sorry I couldn't be there as I was in London, but I picked up one of the paper flags on the stall today and liked the "paisley pattern" so much I thought I would feature it here.
