Street scene

This was the view from inside a taxi, near our house, yesterday. You see a lot of interesting vehicles, with interesting cargo, in Addis. There are very few scooters and motorcycles, compared to Ghana. Our cab driver said that the government had made them prohibitively expensive to own, because they were unsafe in Addis' traffic. Driving in general, or being a pedestrian, seems pretty unsafe as well.
