Waratah Pod

I posted an image four days ago of my wonderful "Waratah Women" that were given to me by a women who had visited Wombat Hollow after the fire.  Finally tonight I had the chance to go out and find some of the Pods that the WW's were created from.  As you can see, this is the Waratah flower in its final moment and it's hard to believe that it could be reborn in such a joyous way.  My blip buddy Jolang has taken my bait and these pods are winging her way.  I'll be absolutely fascinated to see what my genius friend in the craft department turns them into :-)

Flower Friday - I know BikerBear has had some interesting images posted in the past but I'm willing to take a bet that this one is a first!!
