Leptospermum

It was time to tackle a bit of macro practise this afternoon and I had been eyeing off the Leptospermum (commonly known as Tea Tree).  Now I have to tell you, I'm flat out knowing exactly which form of Leptospermum this particular blossom is.  If you have a look at the link above you'll see that there are dozens of variety.  Anyway, Shipley Plateau is covered in it at the moment.

Christmas is screaming up at us like a steam train in full flight.  I can't believe this year is nearly coming to an end.
