Happy St Stephen's day!

So today is the national holiday of Budapest, so everybody has a day off from work and there was a big street party down the banks of the Danube. In the morning I went on a free walking tour with Sun from the train, and we learnt a lot about the history of Hungary. After this was breakfast, which was a sandwich from a shop near the castle. In the afternoon we went into Buda castle and wandered around the exhibitions, but on only 2 hours sleep I wasn't too awake!

Back to the hostel (via a long walk because the bridge was closed for the celebrations) before heading out for Italian food for dinner, then to the banks of the river for the fireworks! And then out again, and not home until 3am. Oh dear.
