Sunset over Rio

This is the sunset from the sugar loaf mountain in Rio. Today I got the bus into town and did the free walking tour! We walked around and saw the palace, the cultural triangle, parks, a fountain, a mysterious statue, the Lapa arches and more. After the tour we went for lunch and I had a caipirinha and a feijoada, which is the national dish of Brazil. It is beans and pork in a dark sauce, rice, kale, pork scratchings and is very tasty!

After lunch we went to the Lapa steps and then I went to the sugar loaf with another girl from the tour. We got to the top just in time for sunset, and it was lovely!
