Hi you Jimmy, who are you calling a cow!!

Our adventures to Hookney Tor this morning provided no equine surprises, in fact there were few signs of the scenes we witnessed yesterday at all. All was quiet and there was only one horse and foal grazing in Grimspound, to be seen.

No this morning we returned to the car to find a family of Highland cattle contentedly grazing around it. They take great interest in Jinxy and stare at us but with those ginger fringes over their eyes they must see every thing through a haze!!

There were about six or seven cattle in this small group, last year they seemed to move around en-mass and larger groups all around the roads were the norm.

We found out recently that they belong to a friend of my daughters and I was able to provide them with some photographs, which was nice.
