We had our Christmas fair at work today. For a couple of hours in the staff restaurant we served mulled wine and mince pies whilst people sold their wares. It is always interesting to see the things people spend their time on outside of work - all sorts of unknown talents and interests.
We had wood work, preserves, bags and bunting, jewellery, wreaths, felt animals, photos, painting and more!
I brought some marmalade from a colleague whose marmalade was so delicious last year, I could not resist it. Along with that I brought cranberry jelly and some cherry jam.
One of my colleagues turns wood and had made some beautiful bowls from oak and applewood, and some butter knifes from black mulberry. Sadly he had sold them all by the time I got yo his stall but perhaps by the time of our summer fair he will have some more!
I thought I would bring you some more stripes today! The low light at this time of year is so beautiful.
