The tree is up

Chris and I were on the moor by 8.30 am. It was still quite dark, but we both had a busy day ahead. She had a Danish friend staying that I'd not seen since 1983. It was really nice to meet again.

I made the birthday cake for Thomas's 4th party tomorrow then started on sorting out the tree and decorations. It seems to take longer each year. I know because I got through 2 In our Time podcasts - Justinian law then Turner's painting. I even had time to hear Nicola Adams on Desert Island Discs. Now we are having tea and a slice of Panettone.
