Swanning About

We had a cup of tea and Marian opened a few birthday presents then after breakfast we drove to Fordingbridge where we had a cup of coffee and a wander around the place. Later we met up with George (Marian's brother) and Ann for lunch in a little pub.

It's been a pretty gloomy day without any sign of the sun breaking through. These swans were on the river at Fordingbridge and their (mostly) white plumage gave good conrast to the scene. The only other photo stop today was this attractive bridge over the River Avon which is added as an extra.
