First Cards

It's December and the first Christmas cards have arrived. I feared that with the cost of postage that we might not see cards this year, but I am heartened that at least our friends and family in far away places have elected to keep up one of the traditions of Christmas.
As we will, although the number of stamps I have bought are somewhat less than last year.
A few years ago one of our neighbours told us that Christmas Cards were out and any greetings we could expect would be purely electronic.
Well, that didn't last very long.
