The evening watch

Tigger (husband) is at the Gliding Club all week taking part in Task Week (inter-club competitions), therefore I don't have to rush home after work. We had a huge thunderstorm with loads of rain this afternoon but when I finished work it turned into a lovely evening. I had another peaceful walk by the side of the canal which runs through our town and couldn't resist yet another dog blip, Luker, this elegant German short-haired Pointer. He was very interested in the swans who were passing by with their three offspring, but did deign to glance my way for a second.
