What were the planners thinking of !

Took a couple of photos today but been busy down the allotment and pickling beetroot, trimming radishes and spinach all afternoon. Oh, and cutting lawns, watering grow bags/tomatoes etc.........

This one I took this morning when I was walking Jonty. It's the view just around the corner from our house, zoomed a bit of course.
I've never blipped Gloucester Cathedral from this side simply because of the awful intrusion of the huge road lighting lamps going across the flyover (Metz Way) into Gloucester from Eastern Avenue.
It's an appalling view and I always think it looks like something out of 'War of the Worlds'!
