Double the Delight

Double the delight, it's twice as nice,
when the sun casts shadows of favourite things:
this vase - a gift for our silver wedding,
the cut-glass hedgehog - a Christmas present
from years ago. And yesterday's fog is soon forgotten
when today's sun and moon have new joys to bestow.
