Llanddwyn beach

Today's the day ........................... to be under the front

We watched the weather forecast last night for the British Isles.  There was a distinct line between the high pressure sitting over most of the country giving clear skies - and a low pressure front which would produce rain over Ireland and eventually move slowly westwards.  The front was drawn on the weather map just clipping the west coast of Anglesey.

And if ever there was an obvious line - with clear skies to the east - and thunderous black clouds to the west, this had to be it at Llanddwyn Beach, near Newborough today.  Fortunately, it didn't seem to be in a hurry to move on its inevitable westward path and so we were able to enjoy a leisurely stroll on this most wonderful 'blue flag'  beach.

Temperatures were in the low teens, the sun shone, dogs were walked, Will painted - all was right with the world ........................
