Downward slide

Once my birthday has been and gone it's officially the downward slide to Christmas.

The lovely summery drizzle has been such SPLENDID weather to watch the newly cleaned pool overflow with rainwater and be inundated by falling leaves (sarcasm much?). Anyone would think we lived in the Northern hemisphere!

Anyway, this was Caitlin's choice (obviously) for her special Christmas decoration this year. Rather nice on our summer driftwood tree (that feels almost as redundant as the summer dresses I just bought myself).
