Ah, the Stories...

Sunday was "our day".

Husband and I were celebrating our 22nd anniversary. We had decided to celebrate in a somewhat unusual way....

Husband loves playing guitar and often plays along with cd's and music on television. He really is quite talented, but longs to play "live" with other musicians. And so, when he had the opportunity to play with old friends, he jumped on it!

We offered to "host" this get together and called a nearby park. We discovered the only day available was our anniversary. Well, what better way to have fun than a party?

It was glorious! We had a turnout of about fifty people. The crowd was very diverse and it was truly a fun afternoon. The sky was mostly blue with puffy white clouds. The temperature was warm in the sun, and cool in the shade. A perfect day......

I always tend to shy away from photographing people. I get so nervous and just feel inept!

This fellow was photographed unaware in this particular photo. I did speak to him later and he even posed for a couple more photos. We were told that each tat is a commemoration of a specific event in his incredible life......
