Early signs of Fall

The concord grapes are starting to ripen. But, it's still hot, dry, and smoky from all the wildfires in the Western US. My daughter-in-law is anxious for them to ripen. They pick them and make gallons of grape juice. They are best in October, after a bit of frost has hit them. They have a very deep grape flavor and make wonderful juice and jelly.
