Chance

Had a chance conversation in another place today, prompted by something CarolineJay had posted about John Arlott. It in turn prompted me to go searching my uncle Arthur's old photo albums to see if he'd taken one of The Bell hotel in Alresford. This was the closest I could find - the Bell is the white building halfway along on the right hand side of West Street.

Probably taken in August 1916 (he was home on leave).
