Up above the streets and houses...
Rubbish sleep last night. Was so tired Monday I thought I'd sleep for England, but instead woke at 3am and that was it!!
Dozed a little but for some reason I started looking about ancestry and doing my family tree, something I've always wanted to do. So, at 5am, unable to sleep, I made a start!! How addictive is this!!
Into work with a lovely coffee by rach to kick start the day. A good morning which seemed to whizz by.
At lunch I signed up fully to see ancestry site and by the end of lunch I'd gone back 4 generations already!
A good afternoon, more reports and meetings.
Home and off to mums for dinner, beautiful homemade lasagne, and a few chips!! Pete, Liv and kirsty there too, and li and matt.
More family tree digging and I uncover a secret already!! Looks like my grandma and grandad had a bit of a shotgun wedding back in 1930!! Very funny!!
Have to admit I was so engrossed in the ancestry stuff that my blip pic was a bit lazy. Missed the chance of the dark skies, but as I left mums and walked back home, the skies were still angry. I spotted a rainbow, which is in the picture and as I stood in the road to capture it, some chap right at the end of the road started whistling the rainbow theme!!! It echoed down the street! I started whistling back to him! Ha ha!
Home, more digging, now found my Irish ancestors, mr Michael Graney, born in 1704! Now that's why I like Guinness!!
