Hockley - £220..but Old Man walking owl.priceless!

Hockley, Nottingham....our trendy and vibrant corner of the City, which links closely with the upmarket Lace Market. As i wandered down Carlton Street, i could hear a live band playing, and pretty decent they were too (in the style of Mumford & Sons). They'd got quite an audience outside Hartleys Cafe, shoppers, workers, and blippers!

I took a couple of photos of them, and also the adjacent old Victorian warehouse known as the Carlton Buildings. But this guy stole the show....I'm not sure what i noticed first of all as i turned round....the dog, the bird mess on his jumper...or the owl he was walking!! bless him, he was very popular with some young children! and very nice when he allowed me to take his pic!

so, owl man it is, rather than Victorian buildings, or Watson Fothergill offices!

a better day at work today. more productive, and enjoyable.

heating up nicely for the Bank Holiday weekend. Warm as i left work, roof down, home and out walking with Pete til after 7pm.
