Oh bother

The joys of living in this part of the world is the fact that we have a totally different language to the rest of the country.
It's called Doric, and when I was a kid you weren't allowed to speak it.
" Talk properly," we were told, often followed by a scud in the lug (slap across your ear.)
Thankfully the language is making a comeback. Our local primary school encourages it.
This table place mat, shows one of the words in Doric.
I will just leave it at that as I canna be scunnered writing ony mair.
