Foot tunnel under the Thames

This rather lovely looking dome is the entrance to the foot tunnel which goes under the Thames from Greenwich to the other side (funnily enough), the City of London and Canary Wharf.  The tunnel was opened in 1902.

The light in the middle of the sky is a plane coming in to land at City Airport.
