Being helpful

On my way home after 3 days spent in London at a conference. I met these three lovely ladies outside South Ken station helping tourists find their way to the museums etc. What a wonderful idea. They're volunteers, and their cheerful helpfulness made my day, and I'm sure gave the tourists a great feel for Britain.
I went on to help a German family get on the right train to Nottingham Hill - so its true - kindness begets kindness :-)

The best that we can do is to be kindly and helpful toward our friends and fellow passengers who are clinging to the same speck of dirt while we are drifting side by side to our common doom.
