Shisha

What a ridiculous silly lazy day!  I woke with a cold....yep, not impressed!!!  Skipped breakfast as it was 11am by the time we were organised to head out.  The plans we did have for today didn't happen but that's OK...this holiday is all about no plans.  We headed into town and had a nice light lunch whilst watching the world go by and then headed into Dubai Mall.  Dubai Mall, what a venue and it even has a dress code!  The place is rather overwhelming and with over 1,200 shops all a bit too much to take in.  I did chuckle at finding M&S and Waitrose.

After a few hours of window shopping and a couple of purchases (gobsmacked at the size of the place), I / we were ready to head back to something a little less frantic.  

We spent the afternoon around the pool (not like me, this is the third day on the trot the pool has felt like the right thing to do!) and enjoyed playing cards and generally not thinking about anything but the moment.    Light dinner followed and first ever Shisha enjoyed.

Back at our room now as Chris has a few work bits to do and I am not feeling 100% so want to have a reasonably early night so that I can feel brighter tomorrow.
