I'm feeling thankful.

Thankful for increasing energy levels and beginning to feel more like myself again.

Thankful for wellies and muddy paths and marvellous, near doorstep, woodland walks so plentiful that today we experienced a new one - seven years after moving here.

Thankful for the magical cure of the woods to reduce family tensions, soften bickering brothers and calm stressed heads.

Thankful for friends being willing to come out of their comfort zones to share our lives, for mulled wine, mince pies, games of twister and laughs.

Thankful for the beauty of our packed
little church adorned with candles and glittering stars and a rich warmth.

Thankful for the words of the The Greatest Story Ever Told and being able to sing (literally too - better throat!!) the carols of old.

Thankful for Christmas.
