Advent Calendar - 19

This scene is from our Candlelight Carol Service.  It looks like the light is on but during the service it was just candle light and very beautiful (if a little hard to read the words for people of a certain age and stage!)
A combination of all your warm thoughts and all these candles and l think we have managed to get enough of a thaw over to Nova Scotia for the flights to take off so thank you all of you for that help!! She leaves tonight and will hopefully be passing through England on the way to Scotland tomorrow morning.. l can't wait.  
Last foodbank for me tomorrow before the new year and l am expecting it to be busy.. as people ask for help.

Last nights Singing for Syrians went really well.. lots of mulled wine and good company and fast played carols to enjoy singing along to.. we raised over £300 ... fantastic!!
