For a "day off" it's been very busy.... katie had two friends over for the morning. They spent almost the entire time playing pantomime! They sat quietly doing some colouring a while before lunch.

Lydia went home with her mum and we took balletbuddy to meet hers. We stopped for a coffee with them before we said goodbye. We headed home and finished a job before we went out to the cinema.

We went to see Ballerina. She loved the dancing but cried three times. Once because she was sad, twice because she was scared of a mean character. When the film finished we went to the tiny Christmas fun fair that was near the cinema. We got fresh doughnuts and she rode the swings before twirling and leaping the whole way home.

Before bed she troughed a giant tea and had a happy half hour playing carols on her clarinet. Busy but happy "day off". Back to it tomorrow with double shows for my girl. But tomorrow I get to be a mama, not a chaperone, and I get to sit and grin at my beautiful girl from the seats.
