Feeding time
Still away from home and visiting relatives in Evesham. We also picked up my sister and husband from Ross on Wye as they are on a similar mission but have had to travel from their home on Cyprus . After a morning catching up with my cousins latest exploits and an excellent lunch at the Evesham Hotel we took a stroll along the banks of the river Avon. The wildfowl that live on this stretch of the river are used to being fed and we had as small amount of stale bread with us . The moment the birds realised they were about to be fed they appeared from all directions and you can only describe it as a feeding frenzy with the Canada Geese winning the race. Wether it's a good idea to feed these birds is an interesting debate to be had but seeing them arriving at speed for their bread was quite a sight.
