Skatepark

We are away from home visiting relatives and friends. As ever time is short and we arrived in Hereford several hours later than planned so finding a subject to blip about was stressful. The picture is of the Hereford Skatepark and no doubt the Fishguard youngsters would put one of these at the top of their Christmas list. Two attempts at raising the large sum of capital required to build such a facility have been turned down partially because Haverfordwest has a large recently built park. The problem for most of the Fishguard youngsters is the cost of the bus fare to get to Haverfordwest, then queuing up to use the facility before rushing of to catch the last bus home. Plainly Fishguard should have its own skatepark but as Alan Sugar put it ,their best chance of winning the investment is to buy a lottery ticket. I hope the very active playgrounds committee prove him wrong.
