Mount Pond: Mr. vs. Impostles
Coming in hotter in large.
I had a fun time at Mount Pond this morning: it was cold and misty when I arrived, but the sun burned through and there was a warm glow developing by the time that I had to leave... The two little Egyptian geese (Impostles) were irritating Mr. by grazing close to the pond, and one ended up entering the water to escape a dog, causing Mr. to fly over from the mount territorially (*blip*). The Goosles have mainly been staying on the mount, which is tricky photographically (extra 2: spot Mr. in the middle).
The Cayuga duck (blipped yesterday) was also still on the pond ("Hello!"), so I've uploaded some other shots showing its amazing iridescence, shown more clearly by today's better light. I was pleased with many pictures, so will uploaded an extra, and all my other shots are on Flickr (right from here).
