Nogbad's
Up at the crack of dawn with the birds who were hoping around in the garden along with the neighbours black cat. Young Jemma (2.5) #1 daughter and Angie got on very well and while Liz made breakfast, Nogbad was deep in business phone calls, the two of them went in the garden to stroke the cat and look at Jemma's rabbit. Sometime in the mid morning we then said our goodbyes.
Next stop were two horse breeders Stirling Quarter Horses and Silverdale Arabians near Bodiam Castle. Impressive stock and prices accordingly. So then headed up through the Dartford Tunnel to Newmarket to see if we could pick up something cheaper. We had booked a set of hotel vouchers in Germany at incredibly good rates with Best Western and we had pre-booked the hotels. Stayed at The Bedford Lodge Hotel a 4* place in a country setting but surrounded by many racing stables. The next morning we watched some jockeys doing some cooling down walking from the bedroom window and chatted with them as they did their circles.
