Tara

(Note: Blip just ate my post, which is annoying: l'll be more brief this time!)

Mom and Tara decided her photo on the mantle needed updating. It was a foggy day with soft diffuse light (but no rain!) -- perfect for portraits. I stood on a bucket and help a reflector in one hand and camera in the other.

Otherwise, today saw a trip to the senior center to take my step-father to a Parkinson's victim exercise class. While there I talked with a photographer who was taking down his gallery. He insists the key to good photography is to enter lots of competitions so as to garner critical feedback. He was a bit full of himself in my opinion, but he did have some nice photos and it was nice to talk about his photos a bit.

Hopefully tomorrow we will manage a trip to the coast. We'll see if the rain holds off.  And Christmas marches closer....
